Caroline Pidgeon and Brian Paddick campaigned vigourously in Vauxhall

Lib Dem Mayoral Candidate Brian Paddick and GLA candidate Caroline Pidgeon have said a big "Thank You" for the huge support they received in the recent London elections.

Caroline increased the Lib Dem vote in Lambeth and Southwark again, securing around 37,000 votes and was elected to the Assembly on the London-wide vote.

"I am delighted to have been elected onto the London Assembly. I will use my role to fight for improvements in public transport and for the police resources areas such as Vauxhall need".

Caroline is now a member of the Metropolitan Police Authority, Vice-Chair of the Assembly's Transport Committee and also sits on the London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority.
